Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood says the band will start working on new material in September.

Greenwood broke the news to BBC's Mary Anne Hobbs.  The guitarist says, "We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding."

Members of Radiohead have spent much of the last year working on other projects.  Jonny has been working with orchestras.  Thom Yorke spent time with his Atoms for Peace project with the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea.

Back in April, Jonny Greenwood said that Radiohead would likely meet up by the end of the summer to work out some plans for a new album.

Their last album, The King of Limbs, was released in 2011.
