A belly dancer influencer was arrested for "using seductive techniques" on her Instagram videos, the Telegraph reports.

Sohila Tarek Hassan Haggag, an Egyptian native and naturalized Italian citizen, was arreted at the Cairo International Airport on June 22 on accusations of corrupting public morals with her provocative dancing. Haggag, who dances under the name Linda Martino, shared several videos of herself dancing in revealing clothing on her Instagram account in which she describes herself as "More than you can handle."

Investigators claim that Haggag appeared “in indecent clothing, deliberately exposing sensitive areas of the body, in blatant violation of social values." Prosecutors in Cairo accused the belly dancer of using "seductive techniques and provocative dances to incite vice.”

Haggag was reportedly found with a "substantial" amount of money at the time of her arrest. The Italian embassy in Cairo is seeking to have Haggag released from custody, though she is set to remain incarcerated for at least two more weeks, according to the Telegraph.

Haggag has dual citizenship but reportedly moved back to Egypt several years ago after building a successful career and divorcing an Italian, according to the report. Egypt has enacted stricter rules targeting activities deemed to be morally questionable in recent years, which includes five other belly dancers having previously been jailed for similar charges under the regime of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, according to Italian media reports.
