Getting scam calls from robots is likely something you're familiar with.
They've become common enough that in November, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved new rules allowing carriers to block suspicious callers.
But some carriers have stepped up and done a better job of that than others. Research company Lionsbridge decided to test the four major companies-- AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon-- on their ability to identify and block suspicious callers.
The winner was T-Mobile, by a wide margin. The company's caller ID identified over 90 percent of calls, and also identified the highest share of scam calls-- six times more than runner-up AT&T.
